About Me – PC Marks Insights
Hi, I’m Phyllis—most people know me as PC Marks.
I started this blog because I wanted a way to earn extra income legitimately doing something I love-writing. I’ve worked in financial management for years, and while I’m grateful for the stability, I am planning for my future with something more flexible. Something I could build on my own time, with real potential to grow, with the understanding it's going to take some time.
That’s how PC Marks Insights came to life—a blog built for beginners who want to earn through affiliate marketing without the hype. Plain old, good old fashioned honesty. I can tell you, go ahead and join today, I think you'll be glad you did. I cannot tell you when you will definitively start to turn a profit. If anyone tells you for example in 3-6 months, you'll be making a $1000 a day- you're on the wrong site, haven't seen that happen.
Why I Started Blogging
I didn’t have a big budget or a tech background. I started with a simple goal: create a blog that could help me build retirement income and share what I learn along the way. I wanted to learn the process from the inside out with a team for support. I am being transparent and honest with those of you who decide this is the right path for you as well.
I joined a system called the Performance Blogging System, which taught me how to write ethical affiliate content, follow AdSense rules, and build trust with readers, train new ad posters and also gained a few friends along the way. I’m here to pay it forward with honesty and integrity every step of the way.
What You’ll Find Here
This blog is for people who want to start small and grow smart. There's no hype here. You are not going to join today and get paid tomorrow. Nope, that's not how this works. I write about and will train you to write about:
How to start a blog that earns (even with low traffic)
Step-by-step affiliate blog tips for beginners
AdSense and affiliate blog setup that follows the rules
Product reviews that are honest and helpful
Lessons from my own blogging journey
I test what I share. I write in plain English. And I only recommend tools or products I’ve looked into myself.
What Makes This Blog Different
I focus on low-traffic affiliate strategies that actually work.
I write for real people—not just search engines.
I follow FTC and AdSense guidelines to keep things clean.
I treat this blog like a business, not a hobby.
If you’re tired of flashy promises and want something practical, you’ll feel at home here.
